Fixture for flange welding

The powered flange-mounting fixture is designed to accurately locate the mounting flanges on the center line of the radiator assembly. With power adjustment for panel length and depth of assembly, the operator can quickly re-configure the machine for changes in production. The servo motor positioning ensures accurate assemblies.

Header Tube is positioned in support and closed to required dimension.  The support can move up or down depending on the depth of the assembly (i.e. how many panels in the assembly). Center line is controlled with the header tube supports. Mounting flange assembly is positioned to exact centerto center distance for mounting. The header tubes from the welded assembly is lowered into position and welded.

Center to center distance is controlled with the flange adjustment.
